Muskoka Vendors.

Venues.

Explore all the wonderful venues Muskoka and the surrounding areas offer. There isn’t a bad place to get married around here. Hey, maybe you’ll even find yours on this list! Here are just some places I have witnessed weddings in the past.

Trillium Resort & Spa

This small resort and spa is nestled on Divine Lake off the backroads of Port Sydney. You can make an entire wedding weekend out of this place, with firepits, canoes, and private cabins. Fun Fact, Trillium is just down the road from my parent’s house and where I grew up, so it is a personal favorite for me in terms of location. OH, did I mention it’s pet-friendly?!

Bayview Wild Resort

Doubling as a family-friendly resort in the summer, this place is full of activities to keep you and your guests busy all weekend long. It sits just South of Muskoka on Sparrow Lake. But I assure you it comes with every bit of the same experience and fun!

Horseshoe Resort

This venue isn’t technically in Muskoka, but I wanted to include it because I think the Muskoka vibes are totally there! The resort is just outside of Orillia in the Oro-Medonte Valley. So, if you choose the tent reception you’ll be surrounded by beautiful hills and trees on all sides. Doubling as a ski resort in the winter and adventure space in the summer

Windermere

This classic Muskoka Resort offers weddings in both their main lodge and on the golf course, I can get a little personal with this one because my brother got married here in 2019 (that’s the video above) my cousins and I rented out a cabin near by to crash in afterward so no worrying about a DD. Boy was it fun!

Deerhurst

Deerhurst is a huge resort and they provide so many options for you to put together your perfect wedding. From indoor to outdoor ceremonies and small to large receptions. Their golf course is one is the most renowned in Muskoka. With it being a resort, guests can stay right on location.

Abbey Gardens

Truth time, I am kind of in love with this venue and it’s not even lakeside (granted, it is still near the lake). A large property in Haliburton, they host community events and popups all year. They offer everything you’d need for your wedding from a prep space to a mobile bar truck. You can even choose micro wedding packages if you’re looking for a quiet intimate day.

Brooklyn’s Farm

This is a barn venue at its best! The property includes a cute little home for bridal prep. The ceremony overlooks a beautiful little lake and when night falls, the lit-up barn is a cozy little place to eat and dance the night away.

Touchstone

In the heart of Muskoka and with a ceremony location right on the water you won’t be disappointed with Touchstone’s views. I think what I love most though, is their boathouse reception space, where you can end the night dancing and laughing down near the water. If you love the lake and being at the cottage you’ll love this spot to say I DO.

Sherwood Inn

This place feels like your own intimate island (although it is on the mainland). Sherwood sits just outside of Port Carling off a tiny bay on Jake Joe. Both parties can book a lodge for prep and guests have the option to book their own little cabins on the property. They also offer pop-up wedding sessions throughout the year.

Saw Dust City Brewery

My cousin got married here last year so I have the inside scoop from a guest perspective. The brewery is a small venue but can hold a decent amount of guests. Their huge windows in the ceremony area make for great lighting and the reception area can take place inside and outside. With steamship bay just down the road, there is ample opportunity for stunning Muskoka Photos. Bonus points if you love beer!

Hidden Valley Resort

This tiny resort is nestled in the corner of Lake Vernon and looks stunning in every season. You have the option to get married indoors or lakeside. I think their reception room is one of the most gorgeously lit up come nightfall.

Grandview

If you like golf, you’ll love this venue and the overall vibe. The surrounding area is an 18-hole course surrounded by gorgeous, trees that look stunning in the fall. I personally love the stonework in their main lobby. Grandview feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but, you can find it just a 10-minute drive from downtown Huntsville.
